This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors, candidates who apply for opportunities, and members who create an account.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run our searches and to look after the people who share their details with us.

• Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password when you join our network.
• Professional profile: your current title and company, industry, function, seniority, skills, current and preferred locations, career opportunity status, LinkedIn profile, summary and any other details you choose to add.
• Resume or CV and photo: files you upload to your profile or attach to an application.
• Applications: the roles you apply for, the details and note you send with each application, and the status of each one.
• Saved opportunities: the roles you save for later.
• Technical information: basic information such as your browser type and the pages you visit, used to keep the site secure and working.

How we use your information

• To review applications and consider you for the searches we are conducting.
• To contact you about an application, an opportunity or your account.
• To keep you informed of the status of your applications.
• To build a private network of professionals we may contact about future searches, when you have joined our network.
• To keep the website secure and to prevent misuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not publish candidate profiles. Our candidate records are private and are not publicly searchable.

Applying without an account

You can apply for a role without creating an account. We use the details and resume you submit to consider you for that role and, as described above, to keep in touch with you about it. We email you a private link so you can follow your application.

Who can see your information

Your information is available to the Valley Ridge team that manages our searches. We may share relevant details of a candidate with a client when we put that candidate forward for an opportunity. We may also use trusted service providers, such as website hosting and email delivery, who handle information only to provide their service to us.

How we protect your information

Resumes and photos are stored privately and in encrypted form, and are available only to authorized members of our team. Access to the administration areas of this site is restricted by role and protected by sign-in controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as it is useful for our searches and relationship with you, or as required by law. If you would like us to delete your information, tell us and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

• You can review and update your profile at any time from your account.
• You can withdraw an application you have made.
• You can ask us to correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you.
